Once upon a time in IT BHU
when it was just me and you
where the world was different and people all new
And everything seemed fresh like the morning dew
Where there was a crossroad of region and cultures
Where I and You became We and Us
We were young li'l buds under the sun gleaming
Hopes and aspirations with our eyes shut and dreaming
The place where I first met you, talked to you
Where we walked down the boulevard holding hand in hand
With the Sun in the backdrop being a silent witness on this ancient land
Once upon a time in IT BHU
When it was just me and you
Where we studied, played and partied together
Fought over petty things that really didn't matter
Where in the deepest of the calm and silent nights
We discussed stupid things with our eyes wide open
Where I picked up my first guitar hoping to create another summer of '69
But why then it always happens that happiest moments pass away before time
Little did we realize that we were on an endless journey on a boat
With waters that we left behind never to come back
Oh I wish if God gives me 100 wishes to come true
One of them would be to return to the time I was in IT BHU
with no one else but just me and you
